LGBTQIA+ Pride Month is a time to be loud and proud – either as a member of the Queer Community or as an Ally. Visibility and Representation are cornerstones of Equality. Being seen and heard is crucial for our own wellbeing, that’s exactly why Celebrations like LGBTQIA+ Pride are so important.

LGBTQIA+ Pride Month is a National Event that runs every year throughout June. It promotes Equality and Diversity by increasing the Visibility of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Non-Binary, and Transgender people, their History, Lives, and Experiences. It’s a chance to Celebrate LGBTQIA+ Culture, History, and Activism. Pride is for everyone, including community groups, organizations, activists, service providers, LGBTQIA+ people and non-LGBTQIA+ people. It’s a great opportunity for local authorities, businesses and third sector organizations to show their support for the LGBTQIA+ Community.
