Virtual Pride For All

FOUNDER
Virtual Pride For All was founded in the bedroom of seventeen year old high school senior Kiara Fox.  She conceived the concept while the effects of COVID-19 made it clear that most of the Pride Celebrations and Parades would need to be cancelled this year. She wanted to create a safe space for her community and especially for those still in the closet. She wanted to bring the LGBTQIA+ Community together to Celebrate our Lives and our Love. Virtual Pride has gone from an initial idea to a youth driven grassroots movement with hundreds of Creators already committed to the month long event.

MISSION
The mission is to provide an inclusive and collaborative platform for members of the LGBTQIA+ Community from across the world to come together to Celebrate our Diversity, learn about the History of our Community, Advocate for each other, and Create Lasting Change.

ORGANIZERS
Organizers of the Virtual Pride can be found on the websites virtualprideforall.com About Us page. Lito Loza, Conall Ross, Sophia Brunetti, Blue Phelix, Tash Charitonuk, Yahzee Mendez, Jackie James, Rebecca Dundee, and Ocean Van Exel are the Co-Organizers of the event.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE
The Virtual Pride Calendar page (https://www.virtualprideforall.com/calendar) will have daily announcements. Go to their TikTok page for daily participation, post content relating to the themes, and for the daily featured Creators. Go to their Instagram for how to participate in the big events such as the Prom and the Parade.

Virtual Pride will be happening across multiple platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok. Their Creators will be posting through the entire day, each day, for the entire month of June. There will be daily educational and expressive content in the following categories, Arts & Activities, Cross Cultural, Queer History, Wellness & Self Care, Politics & Activism, and there will be a Daily Hashtag. Informative and inspiring YouTube videos will be posted that anyone can watch.

Artists will be able to submit designs for our online Pride Store. All of the proceeds we make from this event will be going to various LGBTQ+ Charities. You can submit any type of Art – Music, Songs, Traditional, and Digital. You can submit Art work to be featured on their website by emailing it to virtualpride2k20@gmail.com and make the subject “Art Submission”. Please make sure to say your Name and Username so that they can give you credit for making it. Art will be accepted the entire month of June.

Virtual Pride is open to Everyone and All Ages.
